Greencraft Concrete Infrastructure

Greencraft Concrete Infrastructure has developed innovative concrete mixes and accelerated concrete curing systems to create truly Ultra High Performance concrete that is denser, less permeable, with higher early and ultimate compressive and flexural strength while using significantly reduced amounts of Portland cement. This patent-pending technology is truly revolutionary and groundbreaking "green technology" that is both authentic and proven.

Concrete is the most ubiquitous building material used today. It is made of cement, water and aggregate. Portland cement is one of the major contributors to greenhouse gases and a major consumer of energy and water resources. Concrete can also be made with recycled cementitious material, such as Fly Ash and Slag Cement, but is seldom used due to extremely slow setting and strength gain. Fly Ash is a by-product of the combustion of pulverized coal in electric power generation plants. Worldwide, more than 65% of Fly Ash produced from coal power stations is disposed of in landfills and ash ponds. Slag Cement is a by-product of iron or steel production, generally consisting of silicon, calcium, aluminum, magnesium and oxygen. It is well known that concrete made using ternary mixes has a denser microstructure, is less permeable, is more durable and has higher compressive and flexural strength compared to conventional Portland Cement concrete mixes. Greencraft Accelerated Concrete Curing Systems make it possible to use ternary mixes that accelerates curing of concrete made with up to 80% less Portland cement by weight, thereby greatly reducing greenhouse gases, and energy and water consumption per unit volume while greatly improving concrete properties.  Portland cement is replaced with recycled materials, such as Slag Cement and Fly Ash, thereby reducing landfill burden.

Concrete formed and cured using the Greencraft Composite Insulated Concrete Forms has up to 500% greater early compressive strength than industry practice, greater ultimate compressive strength, increased density and flexural strength, reduced permeability, and improved durability.
